Free Video Consultation Policy
Restore Spine and Joint Center

Restore Spine and Joint Center offers a complimentary video consultation to provide prospective patients with an opportunity to learn about potential treatment options for musculoskeletal conditions, including regenerative medicine therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), stem cell–based therapies, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT).
This policy explains the purpose, limitations, and conditions of participation in the free video consultation.
Purpose of the Free Video Consultation
The free video consultation is intended to:
- Provide general information about treatment options offered at Restore Spine and Joint Center
- Discuss symptoms and possible causes of musculoskeletal conditions
- Determine whether a patient may be a potential candidate for further evaluation or treatment
- Allow patients to ask general questions about regenerative therapies and treatment approaches
The consultation is informational and educational in nature.
No Physician–Patient Relationship
Participation in a free video consultation does not automatically establish a physician–patient relationship with Restore Spine and Joint Center or with Dr. Khalique-u-Rehman.
A physician–patient relationship may only be established after:
- Completion of a formal patient intake process
- Review of medical history and relevant records
- Appropriate informed consent
- Determination that treatment is medically appropriate
Not a Medical Diagnosis or Treatment Plan
A free video consultation does not constitute:
- A formal medical diagnosis
- A comprehensive medical evaluation
- A definitive treatment recommendation
- A substitute for an in-person medical examination
Because a physical examination and imaging review are often necessary, additional evaluation may be required before any treatment decisions are made.
Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth consultations have inherent limitations compared with in-person medical visits.
These limitations may include:
- Lack of physical examination
- Incomplete medical records during the consultation
- Limited ability to assess complex medical conditions
- Technical issues such as connectivity interruptions
Patients acknowledge that additional in-person evaluation may be required.
Not for Medical Emergencies
Free video consultations are not intended for emergency medical situations.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care at the nearest emergency department.
HIPAA and Privacy
Restore Spine and Joint Center makes reasonable efforts to protect patient privacy and uses secure technologies for electronic communications whenever possible.
However, electronic communication platforms may carry inherent privacy risks.
By participating in a video consultation, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You may voluntarily share personal health information
- Electronic communications may involve some risk of unauthorized access
- The clinic will take reasonable steps to safeguard protected health information in accordance with applicable privacy laws

Regenerative Medicine Disclosure
Some treatments discussed during consultations, including regenerative medicine therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or stem cell–based procedures, may be considered investigational for certain conditions and may not be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for all indications.
Individual treatment outcomes vary, and no guarantees of specific results can be made.
Eligibility for Treatment
Participation in a free consultation does not guarantee eligibility for treatment.
Treatment recommendations depend on:
- Medical history
- Imaging findings
- Clinical evaluation
- Physician judgment regarding medical appropriateness and safety
Financial Disclosure
The video consultation itself is provided at no cost.
However, additional services may involve fees, including:
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Imaging studies
- Regenerative medicine treatments
- Follow-up medical visits
Patients will receive full financial information before scheduling any paid services.
Geographic and Licensing Requirements
Medical services are provided by physicians licensed in the State of Georgia.
Telehealth consultations may be provided only to patients physically located in jurisdictions where the physician is licensed to practice medicine.

By requesting or participating in a free video consultation with Restore Spine and Joint Center, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy and agree to the limitations and terms described above.
